Walking along the Painters' Trail , you will discover their works recreated on the lava slabs in situ, in the very spots where the artists painted. A booklet with a map will be distributed at the beginning of the course. Our instructor will introduce you to the site and its current artistic possibilities by creating sketches and quick studies using dry media. You will practice techniques using pencil, sanguine, charcoal, pastel, and water-based techniques (gouache, acrylic, watercolor, ink). You will capture the atmosphere of the place with effects of color, light, reflections, weight, and the brilliance of the sky, as well as the beauty of a detail. This work of sensory observation will allow you to rediscover the creativity that each person possesses within themselves, through a personal and visual approach. This instinctive approach allows beginners to achieve surprising results.
